This 20 ft open top container is designed for cargo that requires loading from above using a crane. The container has no conventional steel corrugated roof. Instead, removable bows and a weatherproof tarpaulin cover the top, which can be secured with ropes.
The door header above the door can be swung round or removed to allow easy access for cargo.
Lashing rings are provided in the floor and side rails for securing loads during transport.
The container must be shipped with the bows and tarpaulin in place, as they provide structural strength.
The flooring is 28mm marine plywood. Marine plywood is manufactured with water-resistant adhesives and resists delamination in humid conditions.
