WELCOME TO MOVING SHIPPING CONTAINERS

Effective Date: July 29, 2026

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how Moving Shipping Containers processes orders, coordinates delivery, and handles delivery-related requirements. This policy may be updated periodically. The effective date above reflects the most current version.

By placing an order with Moving Shipping Containers, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed after the order details have been confirmed and the required payment has been successfully received and cleared, unless different payment terms have been agreed to in writing.

For standard container sales, please allow approximately 1–3 business days for order processing and delivery preparation after payment confirmation. Processing may include confirming product availability, reviewing order details, preparing the container for delivery, and coordinating transportation.

Processing times may vary depending on:

  • Product availability

  • Container type and condition

  • Customer location

  • Delivery requirements

  • Site access conditions

  • Transportation scheduling

For customized or modified containers, processing times vary according to the scope and complexity of the requested work. An estimated timeframe will be provided based on the specific project.

Orders paid by credit or debit card, where accepted, must receive successful payment authorization.

Bank transfers must be fully cleared before delivery scheduling begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Orders using financing must receive the required financing approval before processing can begin.

If additional information is required to process or deliver an order, we will contact the customer using the contact information provided with the order.

2. Shipping & Estimated Delivery Timeframe

Moving Shipping Containers coordinates delivery to eligible U.S. locations based on product availability, customer location, delivery access, and transportation scheduling.

For standard orders, the estimated delivery timeframe is generally 5–7 business days after payment confirmation and order processing, unless a different timeframe is communicated for the specific order.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Actual delivery timing may vary due to:

  • Product availability

  • Delivery distance and location

  • Transportation scheduling

  • Weather conditions

  • Road conditions or restrictions

  • Site accessibility

  • Carrier availability

  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

Customers will be contacted regarding delivery scheduling when the order is ready for transportation.

3. Delivery Method

Shipping containers are typically delivered using appropriate transportation equipment, which may include tilt-bed or flatbed trucks. The delivery method depends on the container type, size, delivery location, and site conditions.

Special placement services, including crane or other specialized equipment, are not automatically included unless specifically stated in the product listing, order confirmation, or invoice.

If special equipment or placement services are required, customers should discuss these requirements with our team before delivery is scheduled.

4. Customer Delivery Responsibilities

Before delivery, customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery site is suitable and accessible for the planned delivery equipment.

Customers should:

  • Provide a clear and accessible route to the delivery location

  • Ensure sufficient space for the delivery vehicle to enter, maneuver, and unload

  • Provide a suitable surface for container placement

  • Remove obstacles that may interfere with delivery

  • Inform us of any access restrictions or site-specific requirements

  • Confirm any applicable local zoning, permit, or placement requirements

The customer is responsible for obtaining any permits or approvals required by local authorities for the placement or use of a container.

Delivery requirements may vary depending on the container size, delivery equipment, and location.

5. Delivery Access Requirements

The customer is responsible for confirming that the delivery site can accommodate the required delivery equipment.

Potential access considerations include:

  • Road width

  • Turning space

  • Overhead clearance

  • Ground conditions

  • Gates and entrances

  • Utility lines

  • Trees or other obstructions

  • Slopes or uneven terrain

  • Local road restrictions

If the delivery location cannot be safely accessed or the site is not ready, delivery may need to be delayed or rescheduled.

Additional transportation, storage, or rescheduling charges may apply when costs are incurred because of customer-provided information, site access limitations, or failure to meet agreed delivery requirements.

6. Container Inspection & Condition

Container condition varies by product and is identified in the applicable product listing, quotation, invoice, or order documentation.

Where applicable, product information may include:

  • Container size

  • Container type

  • New or used condition

  • Grade or condition description

  • Features and specifications

  • Product photographs

Customers should review the product information and ask any questions about condition or specifications before completing their purchase.

Where a pre-delivery inspection is part of the applicable order process, the container will be reviewed before dispatch.

Product photographs may represent the actual container or may be representative images, depending on the individual listing. Customers should contact our team if they require clarification about whether the images shown represent the exact unit being purchased.

7. Delivery Location & Placement

Delivery is made to the address specified and confirmed during the ordering process.

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and ensuring that the location is suitable for delivery.

Moving Shipping Containers is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from:

  • Incorrect delivery information

  • Restricted site access

  • Inadequate site preparation

  • Unreported access limitations

  • Local restrictions or permit requirements

  • Unsafe delivery conditions

The customer is responsible for confirming any local requirements relating to the placement or use of the container.

8. Shipping & Delivery Costs

Shipping and delivery costs may vary depending on factors including:

  • Delivery location

  • Distance

  • Container size and weight

  • Delivery equipment required

  • Site access

  • Special placement requirements

  • Transportation availability

Applicable shipping or delivery charges will be communicated to the customer before the order is finalized.

Where applicable, delivery charges will be shown on the product listing, quotation, checkout, invoice, or order confirmation.

Customers should review all applicable charges before completing payment.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, special equipment, site preparation, permits, storage, and additional services are not included in standard delivery charges.

9. Delivery Delays

We make reasonable efforts to coordinate delivery within the estimated timeframe provided for an order. However, delivery schedules may change due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Potential causes of delay include:

  • Severe weather

  • Road closures or restrictions

  • Transportation or carrier delays

  • Equipment availability

  • Product availability

  • Government requirements

  • Natural disasters

  • Other force majeure events

If we become aware of a significant delivery delay, we will provide an update and work with the customer to coordinate a revised delivery schedule.

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

10. Delivery Completion & Risk of Loss

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable sales agreement or order documentation, delivery is considered completed when the container has been delivered to the confirmed delivery location and unloaded.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon completed delivery, except where applicable law or the written sales agreement provides otherwise.

If transportation is arranged by the customer through an independent third-party carrier, risk of loss may transfer according to the applicable sales agreement and carrier terms.

11. Failed or Rescheduled Deliveries

A delivery may be delayed or rescheduled if:

  • The delivery site is inaccessible

  • The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete

  • The customer is unavailable when attendance is required

  • The site is not prepared for delivery

  • Required permits or approvals have not been obtained

  • Delivery conditions are unsafe

  • The customer requests a schedule change

Additional transportation, storage, waiting, or rescheduling charges may apply when costs are incurred as a result of customer-related delivery issues.

Any applicable additional charges will be communicated to the customer when reasonably possible.

12. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

Customers should inspect the container upon delivery when reasonably possible.

If visible damage is present at the time of delivery, customers should:

  1. Document the condition with photographs.

  2. Note the damage on the delivery receipt or transportation documentation, where applicable.

  3. Notify the delivery driver or carrier immediately when possible.

  4. Contact Moving Shipping Containers as soon as possible after delivery.

If the delivered container appears materially different from the product ordered, customers should contact us promptly and provide photographs and relevant order information.

We will review reported delivery issues and work with the customer to determine the appropriate next steps based on the circumstances and applicable order terms.

13. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

Email: support@movingshippingcontainers.com

Cancellation eligibility may depend on the status of the order.

Orders that have not been dispatched may be eligible for cancellation, subject to any applicable administrative, processing, customization, or other costs already incurred.

Once a container has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be available.

Customized or modified products may be subject to additional cancellation restrictions because of the work or materials committed to the order.

If a cancellation is approved, any applicable refund will be processed according to the company’s Refund & Return Policy and the terms of the applicable order.

14. Relationship to Refund & Return Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy should be read together with our Refund & Return Policy, Terms & Conditions, and any applicable product-specific terms.

Shipping and delivery terms do not replace or override the applicable refund or return requirements.

Customers should review the Refund & Return Policy before completing a purchase.

15. Policy Updates

Moving Shipping Containers may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

The effective date shown at the beginning of this policy indicates the most recent revision.

Customers are encouraged to review this policy before placing an order.
