20 ft and 40 ft Insulated Container – NOR and Purpose-Built Options
$2,500.00

This insulated shipping container relies on insulation properties rather than mechanical refrigeration to maintain interior temperature. The container is suitable for pre-cooled cargo on short trips, goods that require temperature stability without refrigeration, and storage applications.

Two configurations are available. Non-operational refrigerated (NOR) containers are decommissioned refrigerated containers. The powered cooling equipment is no longer operational, but the heavy-duty insulation remains intact. Purpose-built insulated containers are designed specifically for goods that require steady temperatures without refrigeration. A standard container can be insulated with 50 mm Bondor panelling to regulate external temperatures.

The container includes solid steel structural components and standard double doors with full 270-degree opening. Flooring is stainless steel for NOR containers or timber for purpose-built units. A security lock box can be installed as an optional accessory.

The container can be used for transport or stationary storage. It is also suitable for container homes, offices, and sheds when insulation is required.
