20ft Flat Rack Container – Collapsible End Walls

This 20ft flat rack container is designed for cargo that does not fit within standard enclosed containers. The unit features open sides and collapsible end walls, allowing loading from multiple angles using cranes or forklifts.

The frame is constructed from Corten steel with reinforced corner posts. The floor consists of wooden decking with an anti-slip surface. Lashing rings are integrated into the frame at regular intervals for securing cargo with chains, straps, or shackles.

The end walls are collapsible, allowing the unit to be folded down when empty. This feature reduces storage space required for empty return transport. When erected, the end walls provide structural integrity and cargo retention.

The container includes forklift pockets on the base for repositioning using appropriate equipment. Twist lock fittings on the corner castings allow stacking with other containers when empty or lightly loaded.

The unit is designed for intermodal transport and fits standard 20ft container slots on vessels, rail cars, and truck chassis. Optional tarpaulin covers are available separately for weather protection.
