40 ft Shipping Container – Corten Steel – Wind and Watertight

This 40 ft shipping container is constructed from Corten steel. Corten steel is a weathering steel that forms a protective rust layer when exposed to the elements, reducing long-term corrosion.

The container is rated wind and watertight, meaning the interior remains protected from rain, snow, and wind-driven moisture under normal weather conditions. The container includes CSC plating for shipping.

Two locking bars are installed on each door. Two forklift pockets are located on each side of the container for handling and relocation.

The flooring is 28mm marine plywood installed on steel cross members. Marine plywood is manufactured with water-resistant adhesives and resists delamination in humid conditions.

Fitted vents are installed for airflow.

The container is suitable for large furniture and machinery storage. Container conversion and modification services are available, including lining and insulation, fitting doors and windows, or repainting in any RAL color.
