This open top half height shipping container is constructed for bulk cargo transport. The reduced side wall height lowers the container’s center of gravity and increases structural strength compared to full-height containers.
The container includes a removable hard lid constructed with a steel roof frame and roof panel. The lid is designed for easy removal during loading and helps control dust during transit. Four roof locking mechanisms secure the lid in place. Seal gaskets provide a seal between the lid and container body.
The base includes six sets of large fork handles for loading and unloading operations, plus one pair of small fork pockets. One set of heavy lift fork pockets and one set of empty fork pockets are located on the bottom of the container.
The container features rear barn doors and a front discharge hatch. The hatch and doors allow fast discharge of loaded contents by opening and tipping the container.
The interior walls are tapered and smooth, descending to a coved edge at the floor. This design facilitates complete discharge of bulk materials.
The container is stackable, allowing vertical stacking of multiple units to save storage and transport space.
