This 20ft shipping container is modified specifically for beverage service applications. The container begins as a standard ISO-certified unit and undergoes modification including serving hatch installation, interior fit-out, and electrical installation.
A serving hatch is installed on one sidewall measuring approximately 6ft in width by 3ft in height. The hatch includes a retractable window and a fold-down exterior shelf. The interior side includes a bar counter surface mounted at standard serving height.
The interior includes lockable storage cabinets positioned below the bar counter. Additional overhead shelving is installed for glassware and supplies. The floor is covered with commercial-grade vinyl sheeting over the existing marine-grade plywood subfloor.
The electrical system includes a 4-circuit sub-panel rated for 120V AC, four duplex receptacles, two overhead LED light fixtures, two under-counter LED strip lights, and an exterior weatherproof inlet box for connection to a generator or site power. Wiring is routed through conduit.
The original cargo doors at one end remain fully operational, measuring 7ft 5in in width by 7ft 3in in height. Door locking bars operate with a standard locking mechanism.
The container body is constructed from 14-gauge Corten steel. All cut edges and weld points are finished with rust-inhibiting coating. The exterior may be finished with a branded wrap or industrial coating as specified at the time of order.
