20ft Shipping Container with Roller Shutter Door Conversion

This 20ft shipping container is modified with a roller shutter door replacing or supplementing the end opening. The roller shutter door provides full-width access to the container interior, allowing loading of pallets, equipment, or machinery using forklifts or pallet jacks.

The roller shutter door operates on a spring-assisted mechanism and slides vertically into an overhead housing. The door opening spans the full interior width of approximately 7ft 5in by 7ft 3in in height. The roller shutter door includes a locking mechanism with a hasp for padlock application.

The original cargo doors at the opposite end remain fully operational, measuring 7ft 5in in width by 7ft 3in in height. Door locking bars operate with a standard locking mechanism.

The container body is constructed from 14-gauge Corten steel with corrugated sidewalls. As a modified unit, all cut edges and weld points are finished with rust-inhibiting coating.

The floor consists of 1.125-inch thick marine-grade plywood treated for moisture resistance. Four ventilation ports with insect screens are installed to reduce condensation buildup. Forklift pockets on the base allow repositioning using appropriate equipment.

This unit is designed for stationary outdoor use on a level, prepared surface.
